I love pound cake, peaches and butter pecan ice cream. So, why not join them together for this fabulous recipe that you can make in the spring, summer, fall or winter. This recipe is quick and does not lack any flavor. You can also save time by making everything ahead of time. This quick vanilla pound cake with peaches, will not disappoint.
I get it from my GRANNY
When I was a young girl, my grandmother spent hours upon hours in the kitchen preparing peach pies and peach cobblers. I would stand by her, helping her peel the peaches and making the pie crust all while watching her favorite soap operas. I loved my grandmothers (God bless their souls) and they are very close and dear to my heart. I’m sure I get my love for baking from my grandmothers. Now, while I love my grandmothers and loved spending time with them. I did not love the time it took, spending hours in the kitchen cooking desserts.
You only need a few ingredients for this Quick Vanilla Pound Cake
I wanted to come up with a recipe that will give you all that southern peach flavor in a short amount of time. I think I came up with a recipe you can make and everyone will enjoy.

For this recipe you will need:
½ pound cake from the store (or you can make your own)
Peaches
Cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract
Butter pecan ice cream
Whip Cream
Salted caramel for drizzle
The first thing you want to do is prepare your peaches, cook them on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.

Next you will want to cut your cake in 4 slices. This recipe will be enough for 4 people, if you need more servings just double the peach topping recipe.

Once peaches are cooled, apply peaches to the top of the cake, scoop your ice cream on top. I used butter pecan (but you can use vanilla or something similar).

Add whip cream and drizzle your salted caramel on top. Serve immediately.
