Family vacation with 13 year old
Last summer I too my daughter on our family vacation to Jamaica. I was worried that she would not enjoy herself as the only teenager.
You know what they are like!
Below is a list of activities she enjoyed

You’ve all seen the Disney Movie Cool Runnings,The famousJamaica bobsled team. Here in Jamaica there is no Ice, instead you are hurdled dow a 3,280 foot track through the rainforest settings.
There is also Sky Explore, a chair lift through the forest, the Canopy ziplines with a 33 foot vertical decent and there is more check out the 252 foot Mystic waterslide and infinity pool.
Margarittaville
Water slide, pools, beach, people and music
Blue Hole
I must confess I was feeling my adventurous side and I did the jump. Ops from the small cliff. Now my daughters 13 and 27 at the time both jump small and large cliff. That what it mean to be young.
Next time, I will summon up enough courage to do the big jump, you’ll see
Day trip we visit the Blue Lagoon
You noticed how I started the article off all about my daughter, but this is something I have always wanted to do, Visit the Blue Lagoon.
So we got up early packed our bags and off passing through Annotto Bay, Buff Bay and yes Port Antonio and now its time to find the blue lagoon.
Day trip to Rick’s Cafee
Of course I did not let her do the Jump, she enjoyed every moment from catamaran cruise arrival, watching other jumping, drinking her margarita ( Virgin of course) to the beautiful sunset.
Beaches and More Beaches
Glass Bottom Boat
Cruising the coastline of Ocho Rios, seeing beautiful sceneries, houses, boats and water ….. as they past by.
Our captain catching a fish, his dinner for the night.
Enjoying the magnificent underwater views, the corals, the valleys, the wrecks, fishes, we say it all. This was a memorable experience for me. I am sure to do it again on my next visit this summer.
This trip was so relaxing she even lay down for a nap.
Sugar pot beach only a short walk across the river from the villa owners/resident beach
